Unlock the Staff of Ice in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies' The Tomb Map!
A new Call of Duty Zombies map means a new Wonder Weapon. The Staff of Ice, a returning favorite from Black Ops II's Origins, is now available in Black Ops 6. This guide details how to obtain it on The Tomb map.
Can You Find the Staff of Ice in the Mystery Box?
While the Staff of Ice, like its Black Ops II counterpart, requires three parts to assemble, you can get lucky and find it in The Tomb's Mystery Box. However, this relies entirely on chance, and the Ray Gun is also a possibility. Using the "Wunderbar!" GobbleGum increases your odds, but doesn't guarantee success. Building the weapon offers a more reliable method.
Building the Staff of Ice: A Step-by-Step Guide
Obtaining the Monocle:
The Monocle is the easiest piece to acquire. Simply eliminate the first Shock Mimic you encounter in a match; the Monocle will drop upon its defeat.
Obtaining the Head Piece:
The Head Piece and Staff pieces require similar puzzle-solving and lockdown survival. The order of acquisition is irrelevant.
Locate the cave painting in the Neolithic Catacombs. If the wall isn't illuminated, activate Dark Aether lanterns until one is positioned near the painting. Shoot the Roman numerals (I-X) in ascending order. A successful sequence triggers a lockdown; survive it to claim the Head Piece.
Obtaining the Staff Piece:
In the Tombs room, manipulate the lanterns to illuminate the Bull Mural (facing left). Shoot the Roman numerals (I-VIII) in ascending order. Survive the ensuing lockdown to obtain the Staff piece.
Assembling the Staff of Ice:
Once you've collected all three components, proceed to the Dark Aether Nexus. Place the parts on the central structure. Defend the Staff during assembly from a wave of enemies. Success yields your fully assembled Staff of Ice.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
