The Sims franchise celebrates its 25th anniversary this year! To mark this milestone, EA is launching a series of celebrations across all platforms, including significant updates for mobile versions.
This landmark gaming franchise, initially conceived as a SimCity spin-off, revolutionized gaming by offering unprecedented control over the lives of simulated individuals. Players guide their Sims through life's major events, from childhood to adulthood, marriage, careers, and beyond. The Sims' enduring popularity and influence on the gaming landscape are undeniable, spawning a dedicated genre and maintaining a strong presence across various iterations.
Mobile Updates:
The Sims FreePlay and The Sims Mobile are receiving (or have already received) substantial anniversary updates. The Sims FreePlay features a "FreePlay 2000" update, immersing players in Y2K nostalgia. Additional live events and a "25 Days of Gifting" promotion are also part of the festivities. The Sims Mobile is offering two free gifts to players during its birthday week, commencing March 4th.
