Rivals Update 9 Introduces the Gunblade and Bridge Map as Nosniy Prepares to Add Ranked Mode

Roblox's Rivals FPS experience receives Update 9, introducing the Gunblade and Bridge map. Developer Nosniy Games focused this update on these additions, opting to postpone bug fixes and balance changes until the next major update, which will include the highly anticipated Ranked mode.

The Gunblade, a dual-purpose weapon combining rifle and blade functionality, adds a new tactical element to gameplay. The new Bridge map, a close-quarters combat arena set in Seoul, Korea, and created by @GreatGuyBoom, provides a dynamic new environment for intense duels.

Nosniy Games assures players that all necessary bug fixes, balance adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements will be implemented before the launch of the Ranked mode in the next major content update. Previous updates, such as Update 7, have introduced weapons like the Energy Rifle and Crossbow. NEW MAP:

NEW CHALLENGES:

• A new challenge set replaces the Winter Spotlight, offering keys and a limited-time Bungeoppang charm.

OTHER:

• Minor modifications to Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins.
• Renamed skins: Hexxed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle, and Hexxed wrap are now Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, and Vexed respectively.
