Overwatch 2's seasonal events continue to deliver exciting content, and Winter Wonderland 2024 is no exception. This year's event brings back fan-favorite game modes like Yeti Hunt and Mei's Snowball Offensive, along with a host of winter-themed cosmetics. This guide focuses on the four free Legendary skins available during the event.
Four Free Legendary Skins
Winter Wonderland 2024 offers players the chance to unlock these four Legendary skins without spending any money:
- Casual Hanzo: A relaxed look for the Shimada brother.
- Chic Widowmaker: A stylish winter outfit for the deadly assassin.
- Cozy Cassidy: A warm and inviting cosmetic for the gunslinger.
- Merry Marionette Echo: A festive and whimsical skin for the support hero.
Unlocking the Skins
Casual Hanzo: This skin is unlocked by completing Winter Wonderland challenges. Earning this skin requires completing 8 games of Quick Play, Competitive, or Arcade modes. Winning games doubles your progress, requiring only 4 wins.
Chic Widowmaker, Cozy Cassidy, and Merry Marionette Echo: These three skins became available on December 19th, 2024, and remain obtainable until January 6th, 2025. Similar to Casual Hanzo, they are earned through gameplay:
- Merry Marionette Echo: Complete 3 games (6 wins).
- Cozy Cassidy: Complete 6 games (12 wins).
- Chic Widowmaker: Complete 9 games (18 wins).
Winning games will again double your progress towards unlocking these skins. Enjoy the festive atmosphere and these free rewards!
