Who are the Draenei?
The Draenei, a new permanent minion type in Hearthstone, are cosmic beings known from Warcraft lore as the "Exiled Ones." Having fled their homeworld to escape the Burning Legion, they now journey through the Great Dark Beyond, seeking a new haven. Their cards often feature effects that benefit subsequent Draenei played, creating a synergistic, family-like feel. They're united under their leader, Velen.
Starships and Starship Pieces
The Great Dark Beyond's central theme revolves around customizable Starships. You'll collect Starship Pieces, which function as regular minions. Upon defeat, their stats and effects are absorbed into your Starship, empowering it for a powerful deployment later. Each class (Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Druid, Hunter, Rogue, and Warlock) receives a unique Starship design. The Exile's Hope serves as a neutral location for all classes.
