Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! Launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls introduces the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, alongside new maps, a fresh game mode, and a revamped battle pass.
A new gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's strategic abilities. Her kit combines offensive attacks that damage foes while simultaneously healing allies, a knockback for close-range threats, invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting long-range enemy attacks.
The update also marks the debut of Mister Fantastic, though Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase Games confirmed that full seasons will span roughly three months.
Another recent trailer highlighted Mister Fantastic's gameplay, revealing a unique blend of Duelist and Vanguard styles, boasting higher health than typical DPS characters. He utilizes stretching attacks and a defensive buff to enhance his durability.
While the Fantastic Four's arrival is highly anticipated, some fans expressed disappointment over Blade's absence in Season 1, despite data leaks suggesting his inclusion. With Dracula confirmed as the main antagonist, the omission of the iconic vampire hunter is a surprise. However, the overall excitement for the new season and its content remains strong.
