The ability to leverage the effects of two outfits is a new feature introduced with the Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered edition and its transmog system. This allows you to maintain the stats of one outfit while visually wearing another.

Outfit Requirements

This technique has limitations. While your first outfit choice is flexible, the second must be one of the following Banuk Werak outfits from the Frozen Wilds DLC:

• Banuk Werak Runner
• Banuk Werak Chieftain
• Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept (New Game+ only)

Note: Access to the Frozen Wilds DLC is required, but completing the main game isn't necessary.

Acquiring the Banuk Werak Outfits

Banuk Werak Runner

Reach the Frozen Wilds by defeating the initial machine (adjust difficulty if needed). Locate a Bluegleam Merchant (blue merchant icon) and purchase the outfit. Costs are as follows:

Banuk Werak Chieftain & Banuk Werak Chieftain Adept

Complete the "For the Werak" quest (Frozen Wilds' third main quest). Consider lowering the difficulty if it proves challenging. The Adept version is only obtainable in New Game+.

Combining Outfit Effects

1. Equip your primary outfit: Choose the outfit with the desired stats, potentially enhanced with Weaves.
2. Utilize Transmog: Use the transmog feature to apply the appearance of one of the three Banuk Werak outfits.
3. Benefit from the Perk: The Banuk Werak outfits provide passive healing after taking damage. The Chieftain and Chieftain Adept offer significantly faster healing than the Runner.
