Lenovo clarifies recent promotional image: No Halo 5 PC port. A recent Lenovo Legion Go S advertisement mistakenly depicted Halo 5: Guardians as coming to Steam. Lenovo has confirmed this was an error, a simple mockup, not a leak.
This leaves Halo 5 as the sole mainline Halo title absent from PC, a notable omission considering the PC release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and even the standalone Halo 5 Forge editor in 2016. While the absence fuels ongoing speculation, especially given Microsoft's increased focus on the PC market, there's currently no official confirmation of a PC port.
Lenovo's quick denial, and the continued presence of the inaccurate promotional image on their website, strongly suggests the image was indeed a design oversight, not a premature reveal. While hope for a Halo 5 PC port isn't entirely extinguished, it remains firmly in the realm of speculation. Microsoft's future plans for the franchise remain unclear, with ongoing rumors surrounding a potential Halo: Combat Evolved remake and even a possible Master Chief Collection port to PlayStation.
