Genshin Impact Version 6.0: Unveiling Nasha Town and Nod-Krai
Recent leaks from Genshin Impact's beta servers suggest the locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, both anticipated for Version 6.0. While the Natlan region is still under development, beta builds are progressively incorporating placeholders for Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, surpassing even Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, stretching westward from Natlan and encompassing Fontaine to the north. This phased rollout is expected to continue across future updates.
Previous leaks hinted at Nod-Krai as a separate region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining confirms its location as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya, acting as a crucial trade hub connecting the Cryo Nation to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's statements place Nod-Krai in Snezhnaya's southernmost area, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.
Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster reveal a placeholder landmass in the Version 5.4 beta, situated beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass intriguingly links to Mont Esus, previously rumored as a potential Fontaine expansion. While this doesn't confirm Mont Esus's release timing, it strengthens the connection to Nasha Town and Nod-Krai.
Exploring Nod-Krai: A Lawless Province
Nod-Krai is both a region and a city situated on Snezhnaya's southern borders. Despite some order maintained by the Voynich Guild, it's known for its lawless nature. A significant Fatui stronghold, led by the popular Harbinger Dottore, operates within Nod-Krai. Nasha Town is a key settlement within this province, and its inhabitants are rumored to possess power predating Teyvat's seven Elements.
Dividing Snezhnaya might be controversial, but its sheer scale makes a single-year release impractical from narrative and development perspectives. With Version 5.3 concluding the Natlan Archon Quest, subsequent updates will gradually introduce Snezhnaya. While Capitano's fate remains unclear, Natlan will introduce Skirk, a character linked to Khaenri'ah's Five Sinners. Barring unforeseen delays, Version 6.0 is slated for a September 10, 2025 launch.
