January 2025's PlayStation Plus Lineup: Suicide Squad, Need for Speed, and The Stanley Parable
PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim three free games: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are available until February 3rd, 2025.
This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a PS5 title that generated significant discussion upon its release in February 2024. While its player base has since diminished, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have the opportunity to experience it for themselves. This game boasts the largest file size of the three, clocking in at 79.43 GB on PS5.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, a PS4 title, requires 31.55 GB of storage. It's important to note that this version lacks native PS5 support and enhanced features, but remains playable via backwards compatibility.
Finally, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe offers versions for both PS4 (5.10 GB) and PS5 (5.77 GB). This expanded edition of the 2013 original includes new content and improved accessibility options.
To download all three games, PS5 users should ensure they have at least 117 GB of free space. Sony is anticipated to announce February's PlayStation Plus games towards the end of January. The service will also see further additions to its Extra and Premium tiers throughout the year.
