The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging and extensive side quest. Obtaining it is just the first step; its true purpose unfolds later. Here's a guide to acquiring and using the Tachyon Medal.
Where To Find the Tachyon Medal in Fantasian Neo Dimension
The Tachyon Medal, mentioned in Shangri-La, is the final item acquired before the final showdown. Progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, located in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared for its summoned allies and its devastating "Consume" attack (90% health drain). Kina's healing abilities are essential, and equipping Petrification Null gear is highly recommended.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 is effective against summoned enemies. Consider using Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict significant damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, a chest on your right contains the Tachyon Medal.
How To Utilize the Tachyon Medal in Fantasian Neo Dimension
Using the Tachyon Medal requires completing two objectives. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, finish the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These challenging encounters are spread across eight locations:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat the bosses in the specified order. After the final victory in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar unlock, one containing the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).
Opening all chests activates a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to reverse time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, retaining levels, items, and equipment. While enemies are stronger, this shouldn't be a major concern, particularly if you've completed all side quests. Using the Medal awards the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
