Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Season 2 introduces "The Tomb," a new Zombies map launching January 28th. This map continues the narrative from "Citadelle des Morts," the Season 1 Reloaded addition.
The Tomb will be the fourth Zombies map in Black Ops 6, following Terminus Island and Liberty Falls. Treyarch describes the map's structure as similar to Liberty Falls, promising a new Wonder Weapon drawing inspiration from past titles, along with intricate Easter Eggs. Returning playable characters include Weaver, Grey, Garver, and Maya. The setting is a network of catacombs built atop ancient burial grounds.

While full details on Season 2 arrive next week, Treyarch has offered teasers. The Tomb will feature nods to previous Zombies maps and enhanced Pack-a-Punch camos. A classic SMG from Zombies history is also slated for a comeback.
The rapid release of a new Zombies map per season raises questions about Treyarch's capacity, especially with rumored leadership on the 2025 Call of Duty title. However, the studio assures continued Zombies content in the future. Fans eagerly anticipate The Tomb's arrival on January 28th.
