NCSoft has unexpectedly announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title, Battle Crush. This is surprising, given the game never reached its full release. Following a global test in August 2023 and early access in June 2024, the game is slated for closure just months later.
Battle Crush Shutdown Date: November 29th, 2024
The game's in-app purchases have been halted. However, refunds are available for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024. Android and Steam users can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward. The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support inquiries. Social media and Discord channels will cease operation on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The announcement understandably disappoints players who invested time and effort. While enjoyable, Battle Crush faced challenges, including occasionally clunky controls and pacing issues. This lack of polish ultimately contributed to its premature closure.
Before the game's complete shutdown, players can still find it on the Google Play Store. Alternatively, check out our next article covering the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
