The highly anticipated game, *Indiana Jones and the Great Circle*, developed by MachineGames, has already made a significant impact since its launch on Xbox Series X and S and PC in December 2024. With a PlayStation 5 rating now appearing on the Entertainment Software Rating Board's website, it's clear that a PS5 release is on the horizon, likely within the next few months given its spring 2025 release window.
While Microsoft has kept quiet about the exact PS5 release date, focusing instead on other titles at the recent Xbox Developer Direct showcase, the anticipation suggests that an announcement could be imminent. The PS5 version will include all the updates released since the game's initial launch, including recent fixes for bugs and enhancements like Nvidia DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction on PC.
The game's launch on Game Pass has already seen it reach an impressive 4 million players, a number expected to surge with the PS5 release. This success has been bolstered by the positive reception to Troy Baker's portrayal of Indiana Jones. Harrison Ford himself praised Baker's performance, noting in an interview with *The Wall Street Journal* that Baker's talent and the game's creative direction prove that "you don't need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
