Bethesda has announced that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will receive Update 3 next week. While full patch notes are forthcoming, an initial announcement on Twitter revealed that the update will include several bug fixes and performance improvements. A key addition is support for Nvidia DLSS 4, incorporating both Multi-Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
Players eagerly anticipate these improvements, hoping to address numerous game-breaking bugs that have plagued the title since its early December release. Bethesda previously indicated that the February update would introduce enhanced graphical features and options, alongside fixes for issues preventing some players from completing the game (100% completion) and encountering problems with actions like climbing vines or navigating tight spaces in Sukhothai. The extent to which these specific issues are resolved in next week's patch remains to be seen.
Launched on PC and Xbox Series X|S (and available day one on Game Pass), Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has already amassed 4 million players. This MachineGames title has garnered significant critical acclaim and multiple awards, including three at the D.I.C.E. Awards. A PlayStation 5 release is planned for this spring.
Harrison Ford, the iconic Indiana Jones himself, recently commented on Troy Baker's portrayal of the character in the game. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Ford expressed his satisfaction with Baker's performance, stating, "You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul. You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. He did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it."
