Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Returns After Extended Maintenance!
Remember SAOVS, Bandai Namco's action RPG launched in November 2022? After an unexpectedly long maintenance period (initially slated to end summer 2024, but lasting well into 2025), SAOVS is back! The developers addressed core functionality issues during this extended downtime.
What's New in the Re-released SAOVS?
The game relaunches with exciting new content:
- Battle Royal Season 1: Compete in four-player battles for the most knockouts. League Matches offer titles and accessories. The season runs until December 30th.
- Returning Player Campaign: Loyal players who endured the maintenance receive 5 Sword Spark Mito Pickup Scout Tickets as a thank you.
- Restart Celebration: Enjoy six campaigns with up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and missions offering epic rewards. This event lasts until January 30th, 2025.
- SSR Sword Spark Mito and New Ability Cards: A chance to obtain the Light-elemental fighter SSR Sword Spark Mito, along with the new SSR Ability Cards "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades," available until January 6th, 2025.
