Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game
Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a collaboration with the BIG Festival, featuring a spectacular presentation of winners across thirteen categories.
A panel of 49 judges meticulously selected finalists, all playable at a prominent booth within the Sao Paulo Expo. Importantly, mobile and PC games were showcased together, emphasizing the equal importance of both platforms – a refreshing change from the typical segregation.
The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a well-deserved win. Previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known gems, its Gamescom Latam recognition underscores its exceptional quality and potential for wider acclaim.
