Farlight 84 is back with a new expansion called Hi, Buddy! that’s dropping today. The update is packed with some pretty exciting features. There’s a new Buddy System (and hence the name) and new events and map revamps.Say Cute!The highlight of the expansion is the debut of the Buddy System. Buddies are nothing but cute and adorable pets that will make the battlefield seem less aggressive (probably). The Buddies will actually help you out during gameplay.There are two types to look out for: Common Buddies and Archon Buddies. The former are easy to capture and have useful abilities. Archon Buddies, on the other hand, are rarer and come with some insane powers.To snag these Buddies, you’ll need to use Buddy Orbs. If you’re looking for more, you’ll find them scattered across the map. You can also store up to six tactical items in these Orbs. So, now you know that these don’t have just a single use.Now who are the Buddies you’ll be rolling with? The Hi, Buddy expansion has dropped ten buddies in Farlight 84 as of now. There are the common ones like Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky and Zephy.And the Archon Buddies are Time Dominator and Storm Empress. Time Dominator can literally move the Safe Zone toward it. While Storm Empress can create a massive tornado that lifts and damages enemies over time.Curious to see them? And There’s A Lot More!The Sunder Realms map just got a spiffy makeover. Fresh terrains, structures and landmarks have been added. You’ll be sliding down ramps, finding cover in upgraded buildings and spotting gigantic duck statues and floating boulders.Then there’s the new Tactical Core system. As you level up, you’ll earn Trait points to upgrade your hero’s skills and unlock new abilities. You’ll need Trait Activation Cards to max out these abilities though, so keep an eagle eye out for those.
As for events, the Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event are coming in blazing, offering sweet rewards like skins and loot boxes. So, grab Farlight 84 from the Google Play Store and check out Hi, Buddy!
