Freedom Wars Remastered: Expanding Your Combat Item Arsenal
Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options, but Combat Items, crucial consumables with limited quantities, often require strategic management. This guide addresses how to equip more and where to acquire them.
Equipping More Combat Items
Initially, you're limited to one Combat Item. To increase this, you need Entitlements. In your cell, access the "Window On Liberty" and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the "Equipment" section, then scroll right to find the "One-Item Permit." Subsequent permits, unlocked sequentially, allow equipping up to four Combat Items.
These permits become available quickly, usually by CODE level 3. Remember, each permit unlocks only after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item automatically equips your entire stack. For example, equipping a frag grenade uses all currently held grenades at the operation's start. Your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item for on-demand use.
Acquiring More Combat Items
After completing early missions, access "The Warren" HUB area. Here, "Zakka," a store on the upper level, sells Munitions (damage-dealing items) and Medical Supplies (healing, curative, and ammo-refilling items). Combat Items are purchased individually, and bulk purchases can be expensive, requiring significant Entitlement Points. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
